Getting ready for chilly 🍁 🥶 riding weather
We’re all about getting ready for Fall riding over on the blog, with our Fall Weather Gear MVPs for Cycling and the Clothing Matrix that helps you figure out what layers to wear when you’re heading out for those weird in-between rides. The real key? Layer, Layers and more Layers. If you’re new to cycling and just starting to grow your wardrobe or you’re on a budget, think about adding thin layers like arm and leg warmers rather than long sleeves and full tights. A raincoat paired with a long baselayer and jersey will handle most chilly days if you don’t have a winter jacket yet. (We do love a good winter jacket and tights, but there’s something to be said for versatility, especially if you’re not planning on a ton of winter riding.)
Asking a few ⁇ questions before setting big goals
Anyone else getting hit with Q4 and off-season goal overwhelm? I’m guilty of trying to do ALL the things, and ending up juggling too many balls in the air. As I think about next season’s goals (and the two year goals), I’m starting to ask myself a few key questions after putting together my master list.
