DECIDE WHAT SERVES YOU
Hello, hello!
Last week on the Consummate Athlete Podcast website, we were talking about Strava and why Molly has stopped posting every training run and ride on there... Not because we don't love Strava or think it has a ton of potential benefits, but because it's important to occasionally step back and think through how the different apps and social media and metrics we use are serving us, at the moment. In Molly's case, Strava was making her anxious and regardless of how many miles she logged, like she wasn't doing enough. You might have the same feelings of FOMO or comparison-itis on Instagram or Facebook. It's important to recognize that certain things can be unhealthy for us during certain points in our athletic journeys, and it's always OK to take a break from posting! Want more? Read the whole article here: Why I Rarely Post on Strava
We also have a new 30-minute yoga session filmed by Rogers TV in Collingwood, and you can find that right here!
As always, thanks for being part of our crew—hope you have an active, healthy week!!
-Molly & Peter
