Shred Girls is Celebrating BMX in the Olympics with 20% off
SHRED GIRLS HANGOUTS
Hey Shred Girls—
Watching the BMX racing events on Friday and then the first ever Olympic BMX Freestyle events yesterday and today has me SO. FIRED. UP. about what girls on bikes are capable of. Look at silver medalist in the Freestyle event: American Hannah Roberts is only 19 years old!
To celebrate, clothing in the Shred Girls store is 20% off this week: use code OLYMPICS to get the deal! (And if you have a shred girl who’s been inspired by Tokyo 2020, make sure she has copies of Lindsay’s Joyride and Ali’s Rocky Ride!)
Great Britain’s Charlotte Worthington had one of the most heroic second runs ever in the BMX Freestyle today. After her first run was abruptly ended in a crash wen she attempted the backflip-360, she opted to make a second attempt at her original run, and in a storybook ending nailed the backflip-360 and a front flip. The amazing performance—with the world’s first backflip 360 for women in competition—was good for a huge 97.5 and a GOLD MEDAL.
In the U.S., you can watch that backflip 360 here (or In Canada, you can watch the entire event replay here)
Know a Shred Girl IRL who motivates you? Nominate her to be featured on the Shred Girls site... and stay tuned for some BIG news coming soon!
XO,
Molly (and Lindsay, Ali and Jen!)
PS: I'd also love some help: get more girls excited about riding by helping boost Shred Girls' rankings on Amazon— leave a Shred Girls review on Amazon! (And yes, you can review even if you didn't buy on there.)

ABOUT ALI'S ROCKY RIDE: In the follow-up to LINDSAY’S JOYRIDE, the Shred Girls reunite at Ali’s home for a mountain-biking training trip that builds up to an elite competition! Even though Ali grew up on the mountain biking with her professional-biker older brothers, she’s anxious. Her brothers always make her feel like she’s not talented enough. Could they be right? She’ll just have to find out.
