Hello, hello!
When Peter saw the headline I picked for our recent article about prioritizing recovery, he actually wanted to change it from "Remember: You Should Still Prioritize Recovery When Things Are Going Well" to "You Should Prioritize Recovery ESPECIALLY When Things Are Going Well".
In fact, in the last couple of weeks, we've actually built in bonus recovery days and weeks for clients who've been doing amazingly well lately. That's because when things are going really well in training, there are a few things that can happen. You might be tempted to overdo it because you're feeling great. Or, you might be skimping on recovery because things feel good, so you're just not thinking about that rehab exercise you're supposed to do daily. So, consider this our general reminder that whether things are going great or not going how you planned, you still need recovery built in on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
