We know it's a holiday weekend so we'll keep it short and sweet here: Hopefully everyone is feeling happy + healthy as we head into a very different Fall season than we've ever had before. We know keeping motivation up is tough right now—we're in the same boat!—and if you are struggling to figure out what to do now, especially as more of the cyclocross season seems to be vanishing off the calendar, it might be time to book a phone consult to chat with endurance coach + kinesiologist Peter Glassford about how you can structure your training to find that sense of fun and motivation so that when racing does come back (and it will), you'll be ready.

WHAT DOES A CYCLING COACH DO?
If you're new to the concept of endurance sport coaching, you might be confused about what exactly a cycling coach can do for you. Maybe, as a masters-aged athlete, you think only young, elite racers need cycling coaches. But if you have goals in endurance sport, a coach can help you reach them faster and smarter. YOGA FOR ATHLETES
It was a big week for yoga at Consummate Athlete HQ, between releasing a podcast and new yoga video tailored to athletes with The Valley Om's Sue Amato. We also jumped onto a live yoga session on Zoom for Consummate Athlete clients Friday morning, and it was super cool to see more than a dozen athletes from all over North America signing on to stretch with us. Something about seeing that gallery of videos of rad Consummate Athletes yoga-ing together just makes the day feel a little brighter.
