SHRED GIRLS HANGOUTS
Hey Shred Girls—
I know we're at a scary time in the world, so I though this was a great time to reach out and just say hello again. I know it's been a minute since I last sent a newsletter (right around Christmas!) but I thought everyone could use a hello and a virtual hug... I know I've been relying on my online community a lot lately! While we may not be able to ride together as much as we'd like, we can still hop on Skype or FaceTime to do virtual rides together or just check in and say hello. We may not be pedaling together IRL, but we can in spirit. Take care of yourselves and take care of each other!
Final note: If any teachers who are now doing video classes want to set up an author Q&A or some kind of guest lecture for students while schools are closed, let me know—I’m happy to help give teachers a tiny break, I know how hard you all work!!!
XO,
Molly (and Lindsay, Ali and Jen!)
PS: You can help get more girls excited about riding by helping boost Shred Girls' rankings on Amazon— leave a Shred Girls review on Amazon! (And yes, you can review even if you didn't buy on there.)

“SHRED GIRLS: ALI’S ROCKY RIDE” IS AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER NOW!
With all the uncertainty in the world right now, I still can't help but be excited that the second Shred Girls book is coming soon: Come along for a wild ride as the Shred Girls take on mountain biking! Readers are sure to feel like part of the team in this empowering read that features illustrations and training logs!
In the follow-up to LINDSAY’S JOYRIDE, the Shred Girls reunite at Ali’s home for a mountain-biking training trip that builds up to an elite competition! Even though Ali grew up on the mountain biking with her professional-biker older brothers, she’s anxious. Her brothers always make her feel like she’s not talented enough. Could they be right? She’ll just have to find out.
But it’ll be hard to focus on training when Jen, Lindsay, and Lindsay’s awesome older cousin Phoebe come to stay for two weeks. Ali’s never had friends who are girls before, and now they’re jumping into a long-term sleepover! Well, she’s not sure that ultra-feminine Jen is actually her friend . . . yet. Ali’s about to get a crash course on friendship!
With everything going on, Ali’s got a rocky road ahead–but she has the right bike for this ride!

QUOTE OF THE MONTH
"All you have to do is take a deep breath in and let it out, and just believe that you can do it. Because if you don’t, it will get in your head and then you will be scared and won’t try it." -11 year old Erin Kromis
SHRED GIRLS COACHING
I've been working with a couple of Shred Girls IRL already with Shred Girls Coaching and I'm having SO much fun seeing rad young women willing to put in the work and crush it. And naturally, I have big long-term plans for this (including full kit for my first few clients and potential for a Shred Girls team sometime down the line). I know a lot of racing is on hold right now, but if you're thinking about your next step in training, check out the information page and get in touch with any questions!

ABOUT SHRED GIRLS: Lindsay's Joyride
An empowering new series from the cyclist who runs Shred-Girls.com is guaranteed to give readers an adrenaline rush--and the confidence girls gain from participating in sports. It's time to ride and save the day!
Lindsay can't wait to spend her summer break reading comics and watching superhero movies--until she finds out she'll be moving in with her weird older cousin Phoebe instead. And Phoebe has big plans for Lindsay: a BMX class at her bike park with cool-girl Jen and perfectionist Ali. Lindsay's summer of learning awesome BMX tricks with new friends and a new bike turns out to be more epic than any comic book--and it's all leading up to a jumping competition. But some of the biker boys don't think girls should be allowed to compete in BMX. Now it's up to Lindsay, Jen, and Ali to win the competition and prove that anyone can be great at BMX.
