Hopefully everyone reading this had a great holiday season, whether you got to spend some time with family, some extra time training, scored overtime pay at work, or just had some downtime to yourself. I know not everyone loves the holiday season, and whether you do or don't enjoy them, let's all admit that to some degree, we're all a little relieved to be back to business as usual. Or, hopefully, business just a little tiny bit better than usual, since the new year is a great time to kick off positive habit change (focusing on small, incremental changes instead of sweeping ones starting Jan 1, of course!). For endurance athletes, Jan 1 is a great time to start focusing on positive change since you're getting into the time of year when you should be thinking about building back up after your offseason, so even those who hate New Years Resolutions should be thinking about how to make the next season better than the one before. On that note, this week we're talking all about this awesome time of year!
