SHRED GIRLS HANGOUTS
Hey Shred Girls—
I just spent an amazing weekend with the PA NICA League for their annual GRiT (Girls Riding Together) camp—over 40 young women hanging out, playing on bikes and shredding. It was MAGICAL. The camp isn't about riding a billion hours a day, it's about loving bikes and bike culture... and riding a bunch! The coolest part? Hanging out on the main lawn and just goofing around on our mountain bikes for hours, working on remounts, dismounts, trackstands, skids and wheelies til after dark. Incredible.
Loads of new colors and designs are up on the Shred Girls Shop right now! Use the code 'grit' for 15% off to celebrate NICA's amazing program to get #moregirlsonbikes! I'm digging the burnt orange on the tshirt, but this Shred Girls beach towel is another serious favorite.
And just a reminder, all proceeds from sales on the Shred Girls Store go directly back into keeping the lights on on the site, and publishing more interviews and how-to content! At the moment, the site actually costs a lot to run, and every little bit helps.
Riding going well? Tag us @shred.girls on Instagram in your adventures or if you snag a copy of the book, and we'll see you on the trails!
XO,
Molly (and Lindsay, Ali and Jen!)

"The best tip I’d say that I’ve been given is to try out new places to ride and even just trying a variety of obstacles while I’m out riding because it gets me out of my comfort zone and helps me be more aware of what I’m capable of." -Abby Shivers of NJ NICA

ABOUT SHRED GIRLS: Lindsay's Joyride
An empowering new series from the cyclist who runs Shred-Girls.com is guaranteed to give readers an adrenaline rush--and the confidence girls gain from participating in sports. It's time to ride and save the day!
Lindsay can't wait to spend her summer break reading comics and watching superhero movies--until she finds out she'll be moving in with her weird older cousin Phoebe instead. And Phoebe has big plans for Lindsay: a BMX class at her bike park with cool-girl Jen and perfectionist Ali. Lindsay's summer of learning awesome BMX tricks with new friends and a new bike turns out to be more epic than any comic book--and it's all leading up to a jumping competition. But some of the biker boys don't think girls should be allowed to compete in BMX. Now it's up to Lindsay, Jen, and Ali to win the competition and prove that anyone can be great at BMX.
