SHRED GIRLS HANGOUTS
Hey Shred Girls—
It's almost time for back to school, so hopefully you're out enjoying a few last long rides this month. I love this time of year... And I'm working on some fun new Shred Girls back-to-school swag for you too, so look for that in the next week or two!
Riding going well? Tag us @shred.girls on Instagram in your adventures or if you snag a copy of the book, and we'll see you on the trails!
XO,
Molly (and Lindsay, Ali and Jen!)

QUOTE OF THE WEEK
"Have fun! Just because there aren’t other girls to ride with doesn’t mean you can’t keep riding! Go with the boys because they will push you and make you a better rider. Then when you meet other girls who ride it will be even more motivating and inspiring." -Emilly Johnston, U23 National Champion in Canadian XC MTB. I LOVE this because I think it's super important to remember that we as women and girls can also ride with the boys. And we can get a lot out of it! Riding with other girls is fantastic, but it's not a bad thing if you want to shred with the guys too.

ABOUT SHRED GIRLS: Lindsay's Joyride
An empowering new series from the cyclist who runs Shred-Girls.com is guaranteed to give readers an adrenaline rush--and the confidence girls gain from participating in sports. It's time to ride and save the day!
Lindsay can't wait to spend her summer break reading comics and watching superhero movies--until she finds out she'll be moving in with her weird older cousin Phoebe instead. And Phoebe has big plans for Lindsay: a BMX class at her bike park with cool-girl Jen and perfectionist Ali. Lindsay's summer of learning awesome BMX tricks with new friends and a new bike turns out to be more epic than any comic book--and it's all leading up to a jumping competition. But some of the biker boys don't think girls should be allowed to compete in BMX. Now it's up to Lindsay, Jen, and Ali to win the competition and prove that anyone can be great at BMX.
