New Clinics + Events Plus BIG Motivation!
SHRED GIRLS HANGOUTS
Hey Shred Girls—
I'm at another training camp with some amazing young women cyclists, and wow, I am getting an education in what it means to be a young female cyclist these days. The good news is that the sky is now the limit, and cycling can take you amazing, incredible places like Girona, Spain! (Have you been following on Instagram?) It's a great time to get into riding, from road to BMX, in terms of opportunities available for girls.
Just a reminder: Have you pre-ordered Shred Girls: Lindsay's Joyride yet? If you do, send me a copy of the receipt and I'll mail you some super rad Shred Girls stickers (that can go anywhere, including on your bike frame!)... If you've done this already, just share this email or the pre-order link with a Shred Girl you know and LMK and I'll hook you up with bonus stickers!
Exciting also: Pre-order for Kindle and for a hardcover copy is now available in Canada!
XO,
Molly (and Lindsay, Ali and Jen!)

BIG WISDOM
When I'm feeling 'mehh,' I always go back to Lyllie Sonneman's awesome interview—this is one 9 year old with some serious wisdom! My favorite line: Do your best and BELIEVE, also, go kick butt. Love it.
OUR FIRST 3-DAY CLINIC!
Join longtime cycling coach Peter Glassford, coach/Shred Girls author Molly Hurford and several guest coaches for a long weekend of training, adventures, and learning! Riders will be training daily while learning about training nutrition and the fundamentals of success for endurance racing. The camp is about taking your riding to the next level. This camp is meant to help riders who are new to the sport or who have not found a group to train with consistently. This weekend will aim to communicate and demonstrate the things you can do to get to the podium and eventually towards provincial and national team level.
If you are new to cycling or several years into racing there will be something for you here. You’ll end the weekend with a better understanding of how to train efficiently, how to use the road bike to train for any cycling discipline and how to ride in a group, how to structure a season, plus how to recover and eat right and add strength and yoga to your schedule. Plus, you’ll have a ton of fun meeting other girls who ride and race in the area—and there will be bike skills games!

ABOUT SHRED GIRLS: Lindsay's Joyride
An empowering new series from the cyclist who runs Shred-Girls.com is guaranteed to give readers an adrenaline rush--and the confidence girls gain from participating in sports. It's time to ride and save the day!
Lindsay can't wait to spend her summer break reading comics and watching superhero movies--until she finds out she'll be moving in with her weird older cousin Phoebe instead. And Phoebe has big plans for Lindsay: a BMX class at her bike park with cool-girl Jen and perfectionist Ali. Lindsay's summer of learning awesome BMX tricks with new friends and a new bike turns out to be more epic than any comic book--and it's all leading up to a jumping competition. But some of the biker boys don't think girls should be allowed to compete in BMX. Now it's up to Lindsay, Jen, and Ali to win the competition and prove that anyone can be great at BMX.
