Thanks for Signing Up!
Welcome to the SaddleSoreWomen.com newsletter. I'm your host, Molly Hurford, and I'm here to help you ride comfortable and ride happy. Sure, we talk a lot about saddle sores and other awkward issues that you may have been uncomfortable discussing in the past, but we're about so much more than that. We want you to be able to ride comfortable—and that means without saddle sores, but it also means feeling comfortable by building skills and fitness to tackle new challenges, and also be able to ride happy—that can't-stop-smiling feeling you get when you're having a kickass ride.
Now, let's get riding! I want to hear your questions, your struggles, and your triumphs, so feel free to keep in touch by emailing me at Molly@SaddleSoreWomen.com.
Stay rad,
Molly

Have you ever felt uncomfortable while riding a bike? If you haven’t, that's rad! But if you’ve ever dealt with chafing, weird butt pimples, numbness ‘down there’ or a saddle that just rubbed you the wrong way, you’re not alone. I asked cyclists, from beginners to pros, if they had questions they didn’t feel comfortable asking in a shop, or even at the doctor’s office. The answer?
HECK YES! Questions included: Do I use pad versus tampon? Is it OK if I’m numb down there after a ride? Can I ride with a saddle sore? How do I find the right saddle? How do I deal with bad PMS cramps on the bike? Am I having hormone issues, or just a bad day?
So, I spoke with everyone who had expertise on the subject of our nether-regions and how they relate to the bike: bike shop workers, saddle and chamois designers, a panel of gynecologists ranging from serious cyclists to doctors who only ride occasionally, plus bikini waxers, nutritionists, coaches and more.
The result? This book, a talk series, the website, and regular clinics around North America. Join the fun!

RIDE COMFORTABLE, RIDE HAPPY TRAINING PLAN
I’m so excited that SmartAthlete Coach Peter Glassford has partnered with me to make a great training plan for my readers! In it, we incorporate many of the training concepts from “Saddle, Sore” into a 3-month training plan designed to help any cyclist, but especially someone new to structured training, get fitter, stronger, and ready to crush her goals for the season. It also has gentle reminders about making sure you’re taking care of your body and your bike in addition to simply putting in the training hours.
